G.I. JOE 2 Catches Its Mouse

Another actor is headed to the G.I. Joe 2 set. Actor Joe Mazzello has been tapped to play Mouse in the upcoming sequel. On Mazzello’s resume are the HBO miniseries The Pacific, The Social Network, Star Kid, The Lost World: Jurassic Park , Three Wishes, The Cure, The River Wild and Jurassic Park. One thing is for sure, the child actor is all grown up now.

I’ve heard of Muskrat and Mutt, but I’m not sure what character attributes Mouse will have. Can anyone help me out here?

Here at Boomtron we have heard actor Ray Stevenson will play Firefly, a Cobra mercenary, and actress Elodie Yung could win the role of Jinx, a hot ninja. Storm Shadow will return and Jon M. Chu will direct the Paramount film. Channing Tatum will also return with newcomers Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (as Roadblock? …heavy machine gunner and cook!) and Adrianne Palicki (as Lady Jaye? …covert operations specialist) according to Deadline.com.

In the rumor mill, rapper RZA could portray Blind Master, a martial arts guru who trains Snake-Eyes and Jinx and D.J. Cotrona could be cast as Flint, a master tactician with Special Forces experience. There is no word on whether Joseph Gordon-Levitt could return. The new G.I. Joe 2 is expected in theaters August 10th, 2012. As always, when we know more, you will, too!
