Glee Season 3 – Jayma Mays WILL Be Back

It looks like quite a few Glee fans were worried that Jayma Mays wasn’t going to be starring in the hit show’s third season. In case you were one of those people, Michael Ausiello debunked the rumor over at TV Line. You can sleep well knowing the loveable former guidance counselor suffering from mysophobia will be back to continue her story of love.

Relationships with Mays’ Emma Pillsbury never seem to work out in her favor. She’s been in love with Will Shuester (Matthew Morrison) for what seems like forever and the two just can’t seem to make it work!  I don’t watch Glee, so I’m mostly peering through the window at everything that happens on the show. From what I’ve observed, Emma is kind of messed up. She dates men, but refuses to have sex with them, and never stops having feelings for Will. She’s been engaged twice, married once, and nothing good ever comes from her relationships. For the third season, as a casual passerby, I’d like to see her in a healthy, real relationship, preferably with Will. It would be super if they could both make all the right decisions and not break up a second time, but with these high school dramas they’re practically guaranteed not to last forever. But after the crap that happened between her and Carl, she could use a little happiness, don’t you think?

It’s good that Mays is in fact returning since now we know that Season 3 won’t feature many guest stars. They’ll need all hands on deck!
