Sarah Cooper in The Vampire Diaries Season 3

There was great news for actress Sarah Cooper announced on the official Facebook page of her talent agency, Houghton Talent, Inc. She has gone and booked herself an appearance on The Vampire Diaries, season three. No word yet as to who the actress from Atlanta hip hop film, Battle, and episodes of Army Wives will play on the CW’s paranormal series, which is all set to return to the small screen this September.

According to MTV cast members you already know and love are back in Georgia now to begin shooting for the new season. The actors enjoyed letting fans in on the back to work mentality via Twitter.

“Oh hey, Alaric…. BtW, nice hair cut… It’s about F’n time,” joked Matt Davis.

“Just finished our first table read of season 3… Cameras start rolling tomorrow!!! #TVD” Tweeted Michael Trevino (a.k.a. werewolf Tyler Lockwood).

Hottie Ian Somerhalder Tweeted, “Up.Animals fed,coffee consumed-season 3 starts today.Table read with cast.”
