Supernatural Season 7 – Jared Padalecki Talks New Villain and Star Wars’ Boba Fett

Do you know whom the best person to talk to about Supernatural Season 7’s new villain and intergalactic bounty hunter Boba Fett is? It’s Jared Padalecki. The Hollywood Reporter sat down and talked with Padalecki about the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con. The Supernatural star spoke freely about his experience at the Con, having such a loyal fanbase and his love for Star Wars, specifically, his love for Boba Fett. “I’m in San Antonio sitting in my bedroom that I grew up in and I have four Boba Fetts in here,” says Padalecki. “I have an irrational childhood love of Boba Fett.”
When asked about the new season of Supernatural and its new big bag guy, Padalecki wasn’t sure exactly what the villain will be, but does say “this season the foe will be bigger than Armageddon, bigger than the apocalypse, bigger than Lucifer and bigger than God.” Based on the Season 6 finale, we were led to believe the angel Castiel was being set up as the new bad guy. He even referred to himself as the “new god”. But if Padalecki doesn’t know Castiel is for sure the bad guy, then who could it possibly be? Mysteries already and we still have two months before the season starts!
The most we know about Season 7 is that Misha Collins won’t be returning as a series regular, instead returning to a recurring status. The move upset many fans, but Collins has no hard feelings over the change. Colin Ford and Brock Kelly are both returning as young Sam and Dean, while Jewel Staite makes her first appearance on the show.
