The Vampire Diaries Season 3 – Lilly Roberson

The Vampire Diaries CW

Apparently, Lilly Roberson has been booked for The Vampire Diaries Season 3. The news comes from a Facebook post from Houghton Talent, Inc. congratulating Roberson on the booking. This post is short, giving no details what so ever.  We have only our imaginations to guess what her role could possibly be. Lily could be a new vampire, werewolf, a boring human, or perhaps something we haven’t seen before. Is she just a guest star for an episode? Will she be recurring? Maybe, and this is very unlikely, she’s a new series regular. I want to say that it will be just a one-episode deal on Vampires Diaries. She’s not a very well known actress, only appearing in a couple of things. But there’s always the possibility that she’ll make a big impression while doing her part and be brought back for more. With any luck we’ll get some kind of official announcement about Roberson’s involvement in Vampire Diaries. It does occur to me though there’s a possibility that her role won’t be very significant plot-wise, but rather just good for her career. She might just have a couple lines and then poof, never seen again.

In previous casting news, we know that Sarah Cooper has been cast in an unknown role. David Gallagher (Super 8) has been tapped to play a new werewolf named Ray Sutton. Ray will have a run in with the villainous vampire Klaus while in Tennessee. Season 3 will begin during the 18th birthday of Elena (Nina Dobrev). From there The Vampire Diaries will get crazy as per usual with Lilly Roberson involved.
