True Blood “If You Love Me Why Am I Dying?”: Boomtron Podcast #15

It is crazy times around Bon Temps and the coincidentally initialed BT (Boomtron) Podcast.  True Blood season 4 is three episodes deep now, and your Queen of Louisiana and her Vampire Sith Handmaiden are fanging it with gusto (okay, that sounded way dirtier than I meant it to, but, fuck it, we’re two girls who say fuck a lot, so it fits). 

Yes, we continue to bring you the most interesting genre news from the most un-nerdy pair of ladies you will find talking about SFF in public and select, empire-approved guests who decide to groupthink with us.

This week we have in-house talent Pretty Thisby who is Boomtron’s resident Sookie Stackhouse expert and True Blood reviewer.  We squeal about all things Harry Potter–costumes for the premiere!  Dear Mr. Potter!  Why, oh, God, why, did that movie have to come out the same week as A Dance with Dragons?–get our pre-hate on for ADWD spoilers, and more.  As always, though, the focus was on the episode we just sucked down, in this case “If You Love Me Why Am I Dying?”  We take bets on how many episodes before Debbie Pelt falls off the wagon again, reminisce fondly about our own creepy childhood toys, and theorize possible fates of the missing Reverend Newlin. So if you, like us, believe that “logic has no place in Bon Temps,” then sit back, pull your creepy baby doll closer, and let us say all the things you were already thinking about this show!
