Vampire Diaries – New Mystic Falls Resident Returns

Mystic Falls is apparently the place to be when The Vampire Diaries returns to the CW for Season 3, as TVGuide brings word that Jack Coleman (Heroes) will be joining the series for at least one episode. While Coleman might be a new face to the hit vampire series, his character, Bill, isn’t a stranger to the area. He’s a former resident that returns to the Falls with a “dangerous point of view about vampires.”

The former Heroes star won’t be the only new face showing up in Season 3, either. The Vampire Diaries is also getting a new werewolf, and both Sarah Cooper and Lilly Roberson will be stopping by the show, although there’s no word on what characters either actress will be portraying.

Season 3 of Vampire Diaries kicks off in September with the celebration of Elena’s birthday, and Nina Dobrev is probably doing some celebrating of her own as she takes a break from vampires to team up with the former Hermione Granger in The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
