Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone in The Amazing Spider-Man Images

There is a new wall-crawler in Hollywood town, and his name is Andrew Garfield. Yes, many fans think it is too soon for a Spider-Man reboot, but that isn’t stopping Sony Pictures. Opening in 3D and 2D in theaters on July 3rd, 2012 is The Amazing Spider-Man, without Tobey Maguire. The film is directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield (The Social Network, Boy A) as Peter Parker and your favorite web-head. Emma Stone (The Help, Easy A, Crazy Stupid Love) co-stars as Gwen Stacey and Rhys Ifans is Curt Conners. So, say good-bye to Mary Jane (for a good long while?). Martin Sheen and Sally Field are Aunt May and Uncle Ben. Denis Leary, Campbell Scott and Irrfan Khan also have roles. The role of Flash Thompson has also been cast.

Today BoomTron features Amazing Spider-Man images. They are quite an upgrade for this shot of Garfield in the Spider-Man suit that hit in February. A few secrets have been coming out. This film will see Parker being bit by a spider, but his famous web shooters will be ingenious devices, as they are in the comics, not mutations the way they were in previous films.
