A Look at Boardwalk Empire Season 2

Are you ready for a fresh look into Boardwalk Empire, season two? Well, prepare yourself guys and dolls, because here it comes. We think you’ll find it as a nice update to the last HBO teaser. Many consider the HBO offering to be the greatest gangster drama The Sopranos. Do you agree?
You can expect newcomers William Forsythe and Charlie Cox to join the new season. We hear Martin Scorsese won’t be directing as many episodes this season, but speaking of The Sopranos, Tim Van Patten, formerly of that power punching series, will be on hand to direct.
Boardwalk Empire has picked up 18 Emmy nominations and for the uninitiated, it follows tricky political corruption, the Prohibition era in general, and organized crime of the Atlantic City of yesteryear. Sometimes real life figures make it into episodes, such as Al Capone, portrayed by Stephen Graham and Arthur Rothstein, acted by Michael Stuhlbarg. Steve Buscemi continues in season to as Enoch “Nucky” Thompson, an elected politican and local mob boss weary of bootlegging competition.
Michael Shannon is an insanely religious cop, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, part two actress Kelly MacDonald is Nucky’s mistress (Go Ravenclaw!) Jack Huston is an assassin.

Martin Scorsese won’t be directing as many episodes this season? So I guess he won’t direct AT ALL since in season 1 he directed only the pilot. Do some research before writing from your ass.
