Conan Puts Down Sword, Writes Future Game of Thrones?

Jason Momoa, Khal Drogo, Game of Thrones, HBO, George R.R. Martin

Jason Momoa might be getting ready to take the big screen by storm with Conan the Barbarian but his heart is still with Khal Drogo on HBO’s Game of Thrones, and his thoughts are on Drogo’s return.

“It was a lot of fun to play Drogo. There’s a possibility you’ll see me do him again,” Momoa recently told NYMag, and he’s not letting a little thing like death get in the way of things. It’s a fantasy world, sweetheart,” says Momoa. “I wrote some scenes and they might try to use them. George [R.R. Martin] can only write so much. Something could happen. Drogo could have a twin. You never know!”

Beast in GAME OF THRONES Season 2?

Unfortunately for fans of the eye-shadowed warrior that have read the Song of Ice and Fire series,  thus far no twins of Drogo has surfaced, so even though Momoa believes Drogo was “the best guy,” it’s a pretty safe bet that we’ve seen the last of the character on Game of Thrones. Still, it wouldn’t be the first time an adaptation veered away from the source material (hello, True Blood) so Drogo’s return might not be entirely impossible. Do you think Momoa might actually get a shot at returning?
