COVERT AFFAIRS Adds Love Interest

Covert Affairs USA

Covert Affairs has found itself a new love interest for blind ladies man Auggie according to TV Guide. Former The Chicago Code actress, Devin Kelley, has taken the recurring role of Parker, who will be much more than just a one-night stand for Auggie. Parker is the younger sister of Billy, who served in Iraq with Auggie. Billy was killed in the same mission that caused Auggie’s blindness. His death put Parker’s life on hold, and she meets Auggie while preparing to serve in the Peace Corps.

“She’s definitely Auggie’s type and it feels like a good relationship he should be in,” Chris Ord, co-creator of Covert Affairs, said. This will be Auggie’s first real relationship on the show which “We thought that would be an interesting territory to explore,” Ord said. “And we’re kind of excited to see what it would mean for Auggie to be in a relationship.” There’s already a big connection between the two characters; Billy. They can bond over their mutual grief, but that could also complicated things in the long term.

Kelley is down for three episodes and will appear in the second episode of the winter season. A couple weeks ago, Covert Affairs star Piper Perabo teased that we might see Game of Thrones’ Lena Headey guest starring. Former Heroes star Santiago Cabrera would also appear for “some shenanigans.” But most importantly there was talk of a universe shattering three-way crossover between Covert Affairs, White Collar and Burn Notice. Please and thank you.
