Dolorous Edd Named For Game of Thrones Season 2

It’s a new day, and that means it’s time for more Game of Thrones Season 2 casting news. This time around, it’s been revealed that British actor Ben Crompton will portray Night’s Watch member Dolorous Edd. George R.R. Martin, the author of the Song of Ice and Fire series, has been providing clues to Edd’s identity on his blog. The clues led many to name Crompton, and Access Hollywood recently revealed that Martin has officially confirmed the casting news.

Dolorous Edd, who works for Lord Commander Jeor Mormont (James Cosmo), joins the Night’s Watch to aid Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) in the search for Snow’s uncle, Benjen Stark (Joseph Mawle).

HBO’s Emmy-nominated Game of Thrones has been adding new faces at a fast and furious pace, with Karl Davies, Hannah Murray, Roy Dotrice, and Tom Wlaschiha also joining the battle for the Iron Throne.
