Lily Montgomery can’t come home just yet. Why? Her alter ego, actress Leven Rambin, has her plate full thanks to the much anticipate novel adaptation, The Hunger Games. Lily, is of course Rambin’s character on All My Children. Lot’s of famous faces have returned to the daytime soap set, including Josh Duhamel (as Leo), Thorsten Kaye (Zach), Esta TerBlanche (Gillian) and Cady McClain (Dixie), says TV Line. Will Rambin miss out altogether on her reunion?

“Unfortunately, there was a scheduling conflict with The Hunger Games, which is filming in North Carolina,” Rambin told Soap Opera Digest. “Sad, sad, sad! But I’m pleased that I was able to take part in the 40th anniversary show last year.” See? There’s a silver lining, don’t you think?

I, for one, am excited to see Rambin in her action-fueled Hunger Games role. She will portray Glimmer, a tribute competing in the life or death televised games along with Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), but a tribute with one heck of a killer instinct. Most recently Rambin has acted on One Tree Hill, Grey’s Anatomy and CSI: Miami . That’s a full schedule, but you can count on Boomtron to keep up. TV Line also reported Rambin had to give up a recurring part on HBO’s Hung for her shot at The Hunger Games.
