G.I. Joe 2 Retaliation Rock Hard Look

Boomtron faithful know The Rock is cooking up something ferocious for enemies of G.I. Joe in the film’s upcoming sequel. I suppose we should call the big guy Dwayne Johnson when he is in hard-core acting mode. We hear Johnson will be bringing to life the adequately named Roadblock. The working title for the film seems to be G.I. Joe: Retaliation. I kinda like that title. What do you think? A whole slew of actors have already been chosen for the film. Characters will see are Duke, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Lady Jaye, Jinx and Mouse.

Over at The Rock’s Twitter page, he shared the following words: “1st day of shooting. 110 degrees. Bring It.” That’s an athlete for you! Stay hydrated, Rock! The man with the plan also shared an image of himself in character. Yippee! The acting resume of Johnson include titles like The Scorpion King, The Rundown, Be Cool, Doom, Get Smart, Faster, and The Other Guys. He also clashed with Vin Diesel in Fast Five. There is a yummy little rumor floating around that actor Bruce Willis could be added to the cast to play General Joe Colton. That would bring some serious star power, don’t you agree? Paramount Pictures plans to release the sequel on June 29th, 2012.
