GLEE Season 3 Adds Some Sugar

Boomtron faithful know that graduating doesn’t mean getting fired from the cast of Fox hit, Glee, but today fans will also learn about a sweet new addition. McKinley High will welcome American Dream actress Vanessa Lengies this fall in the season three recurring part of “Sugar”. We probably won’t see her in the Glee 3D Movie spectacular, however. Though you can catch a trailer by clicking that last link.
Sugar is a brand new student who TV Line reports is “described as a cross between Molly Shannon and a New Jersey Housewife.” Now that’s an interesting mix. Sugar is a rich girl with “a tin ear”. That means she can’t sing to save her life. That ought to cause a stir on a song and dance series, eh? If new faces don’t interest you, perhaps and old one will. You can call her Mommy, actress Lea Michelle can, too.
Lengies also portrays Nurse Kelly Epson on TNT’s HawthoRNe. The final episode of season two aired in May, but some episodes are still available for viewing online. Season three begins August 23rd. It doesn’t appear that Chord Overstreet nor Kristen Chenoweth (who has a new country music album) will be acting for the new season. When we hear more, you will, too!
