Malese Jow Back on Vampire Diaries?

Despite her character being killed in Season 1 of The Vampire Diaries, Malese Jow is still appearing in the show’s third season. During the second season finale, Anna (Jow) and Vicki (Kayle Ewell) appeared to Jeremy after he was brought back to life. Jow spoke with TV Fanatic, but didn’t really have much to say as she’s just as in the dark as we are regarding her character’s status. What we do know is the spell used to bring Jeremy back to life would have consequences and it seems pretty clear to me that one of those consequences was having a connection with the dead. Why else would he be seeing dead people? It’s like he still has his foot in the door leading to the afterlife. It’s possible we’ll be seeing more dead characters through Jeremy’s eyes.

In older news, a trio of previously unknown actors was cast; as well as former Heroes star Jack Coleman. Coleman’s character, Bill, used to live in Mystic Falls and is returning with a “dangerous point of view about vampires.” What the heck does that mean?

But who really cares about new characters when you can watch old characters being awesome in this previously posted “Sizzle Reel” for Season 3. It has all kinds of good footage to get your adrenaline pumping.

There’s way too much to be stoked about right now for Vampire Diaries. September 15 is getting closer everyday, but that doesn’t make the wait any easier. If you haven’t yet, now would be a good time to re-watch the first two seasons.
