Miley Cyrus Set to Break Holy Promises

Miley Cyrus is getting ready to break a promise to God, according to the latest from THR, as the former Disney star joins forces with her mom to produce a new high-concept comedy.

Miley is set to star in a currently untitled project that she is co-producing with her mom, Tish, under their Hope Town Entertainment banner, which also brought us Wedding Crashers and When in Rome. Paramount has picked up the comedy, which is being kept under wraps at this current time. Right now, all we know is that the film involves a “broken promise to God.”

Adam Glass, with Panay Films, is also producing, and Jodi Zuckerman Weiner is coming onboard as executive producer.

With the script being kept in the dark, there’s no way to tell how much of a religious theme the new film will take, but Miley has proven that she can hold her own in movies like The Last Song, and it looks like the comedy, So Undercover, will keep her in the good graces of the movie-going audience.

A box office hit? Probably not, but it should definitely be a thrill for Miley fans.
