Nathan Fillion Scoops a Killing for CASTLE Season 4

Castle ABC

During its break between seasons, The Killing is lending one of its actresses to ABC’s fourth season of Castle. Kristin Lehman, who played Billy Campbell’s campaign advisor and lover on The Killing, will play another love interest of sorts for Nathan Fillion’s title character. If Lehman does a good enough job and the chemistry is there, the role could turn in to a recurring part for the season. Her character, which is at this point nameless, can be described as a “gorgeous, sexy, sophisticated art insurance investigator” who will have a thing for Castle (and who could blame her). Of course this is television, so expect her to be hiding some skeletons in her closet, figuratively speaking, or perhaps literally. You never know where writers might take a character.

CASTLE gets Iceman for Fillion and Katic

Since she works in art insurance, how might she meet Castle? Could a murder investigation somehow be linked to an art insurance scandal? If it was life insurance, yeah I could make sense of it, but right now I’m just scratching my head. What’s more important is how this will affect what’s going on between Castle and Beckett (Stana Katic). Will Castle go for Lehman’s character even though he’s confessed his feelings for Beckett? That would be kind of douchey, unless Beckett turns him down, then we can chalk this up to a rebound. That way the relationship will almost certainly end.

This is the first time Lehman and Fillion have worked together since they both starred in the short-lived Fox show, Drive.

About Brody Gibson

+Brody Gibson studied film in Vancouver, BC. I originally intended to become a video editor, but realized I have a passion for writing. To say I love television is a bit of an understatement. I watch it religiously, think about it constantly. To be able to talk about it is one the best things in the world. Combining that with my love of writing gives me the opportunity to express my opinions to the Internet masses and start gripping conversations.
