Spiro a DEXTER Season 6 Acolyte

It looks like everyone’s favorite serial killer is going to have a busy season as Jordana Spiro joins Dexter Season 6 in a recurring role.Things might get a little spoilery if you don’t know who the Season 6 baddie is, so you might want to stop here if you don’t want to ruin the surprise.

Spiro (Harry’s Law, The Goods) will be showing up in multiple episodes of Dexter’s sixth season, according to TVLine, with her character being introduced towards the end of the season. This could indicate that either her character plays a relatively minor part in the scheme of things or she could possibly just be getting warmed up for Season 7.

While there’s not a whole lot known about the character at this time, we do know that Spiro will be an acolyte to Professor Gellar (Edward James Olmos), who already has new character Travis (Colin Hanks) as a devoted follower. Since Gellar is a religious zealot and most of the Season 6 promos have Dexter in an avenging angel role, it’s probably safe to assume that Travis and Spiro’s character could be a couple of brain-washed soldiers that do the Professor’s dirty work, and it will be up to Dexter to unleash his own version of God’s wrath on the good professor’s little cult.

Dexter will be sharpening his tools and getting his kill room ready for the Season 6 premiere on Sunday at 9/8c on Showtime.
