Supernatural Season 7 – Sheriff Back in Town?

Kim Rhodes continues to push her luck as she reveals that Sheriff Jody Mills will be making a second appearance during Season 7 of the CW’s Supernatural. Fans of Sheriff Mills were thrilled when they learned she’d be returning in the second episode of the upcoming season, and Rhodes recently revealed on her Twitter profile that the sheriff will also be showing up in the sixth episode as well. It’s been nerve-wracking to see Mills get so close to the action in a show that has a reputation of killing off female characters, but Mills has proven to be a tough cookie and she’s still going strong… for now.

There’s no word yet on how Mills will be worked into the storyline, but her past adventures with Sam, Dean, and Bobby leave plenty of opportunities available. The last time we saw the sheriff, she was putting her job on the line by helping Bobby, so there’s a decent chance her return will reveal if that gamble paid off or not. There’s also a chance Sheriff Mills will be crossing paths with Castiel since he’ll also be in the second episode of Season 7. This also happens to be the episode that will reveal the new big-bad that the boys will have to face, so there’s a chance that the sheriff’s luck might be getting ready to run out.
