Taylor Lautner ABDUCTION and Selena Gomez

My, oh my, have you been catching the trailers for Taylor Lautner’s upcoming action spectacular, Abduction? Scoot over, Tom Cruise. Watch your back, Antonio Banderas. Beam with pride, Matt Damon. Lautner’s film looks electrifying and speaking of sparks, the Twilight Saga heartthrob was at the VMA’s last weekend where he took the stage arm in arm with actress and songbird Selena Gomez. Aren’t they a pretty pair? If you missed it, we have the video below along with some lovely film stills of Taylor in Abduction. You’ll notice veteran actor Alfred Molina in the first shot.

Lily Collins, Sigourney Weaver, Maria Bello and Elisabeth Röhm also star in the Lionsgate picture, due out September 23rd. Of course Lautner will also reprise his role as Jacob Black in Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (part one) this coming November. The center of that first half of the final cinematic chapter may focus in upon Edward and Bella’s wedding, honeymoon and short-lived marital bliss, but readers of Stephenie Meyer’s books will know there are also interesting developments for Jake. He’ll face the rage of losing Bella by taking off to be a lone wolf for a while and will contend with the fact he is an alpha wolf. I’m ready to be imprinted on, aren’t you?
