TV Casting – Sarah Hagan moves to 90210, Charlyne Yi enters HOUSE

House is in transition, my friends, and that shift looks to include actress Charlyne Yi. Sarah Hagan also gets a new address as the buzz connects her to 90210.

We already warned you the new season of House on the Fox network would probably begin with twenty Vicodin. Eep! And pretty girl Odette Annable has a good chance of becoming a series regular. Today, TV Line released the news that “funny lady” Charlyne Yi has signed on for a full time gig on the medical drama. I didn’t see that one coming, did you?

Season eight will see Yi as a new doctor and Olivia Wilde, the show’s “13″, is only expected to make “a handful of appearances”. House premieres Monday, Oct. 3, with Yi arriving in episode two.

Also in the news, Buffy actress Sarah Hagan, (she played Potential Slayer Amanda during the show’s final season according to TV Line) “will play Alana, one of Naomi’s new sorority sisters” on 90210 on the CW network. Hagan, also known for her role on Freaks and Geeks should be in familiar territory as her new character is described as “book smart.” Season four of 90210 hits the small screen on Tuesday, Sept. 13th.
