BONES Season 7 gets a Hack

David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel will be matching wits with Andrew Leeds as a killer computer hacker in the upcoming season of Fox’s Bones, and not even house arrest can slow this guy down. Leeds, who has appeared in Dirt and Nip/Tuck, will be squaring off against Booth and Brennan as Christopher Pellant, “this season’s big villain.” Pellant is a “hacktivist” that got into a little bit of trouble when he hacked into the websites of the Senate and the Defense Department. Now banned from computers and under house arrest, you’d think the cyber-warrior was effectively neutered, but Pellant apparently isn’t your average computer geek because it looks like he’s behind a murder spree, and the ankle monitor he’s wearing doesn’t slow him down at all.The ‘hacktivist’ sounds like a great bad guy to keep around for a while and the folks at Fox seem to think the same thing. “This is someone who is an extremely odd and fearless foe,” executive producer Stephan Nathan told TVGuide. “[He's a] nefarious character, who we will follow for a little bit this season and perhaps next.”
Pellant will be introduced in the season finale of Bones, which is coming to us sooner than usual (in December) because of Deschanel’s pregnancy.
Season 7 of Bones heads our way on November 3rd.
