DOCTOR WHO The Wedding of River Song Prequel and Teaser

We’re down to just one more episode of the sixth series of Doctor Who and before “The Wedding of River Song” airs this coming Saturday we’re going to take a look at a teaser for the episode, as well as a prequel. Let’s start with the prequel, shall we? It starts with a close up of what seems to be a clock, but it’s stuck at a certain time.
Some creepy children are singing “Tick tock goes the clock” over and over again, making me feel very uncomfortable. We flash through some security camera footage (notice in the top right it says “Area 52”. Perhaps an even more secret place than Area 51?) and wind up in a hallway with windows looking out in to water. This facility, wherever it is, appears to be at least partly submerged. A patrol walks through and they notice, and then immediately forget, there are aliens in the water. Specifically, one of the Silence. Oh those tricky folk. The prequel ends with a shot of River wearing an eye patch.
Now for the teaser. This is less straightforward than the prequel, as it’s not in any chronological order (though this is Doctor Who. Who needs chronological anything). The Doctor still has the Stetson given to him by Craig in the last episode and is now on a mission to discover why he has to die. We see more people with eye patches, including River again. I think above all I want to know the significance of those patches. When the teaser goes in to clip over drive we see a pyramid, an injured Dalek, a pterodactyl and Winston Churchill! All that crammed in to one episode? This is going to be a wild ride.
