GOSSIP GIRL Blake Lively in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies?

Could a Gossip Girl become the leading lady of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? The Seth Grahame-Smith novel has of course inspired a film adaptation. News has been coming in spurts. Today’s update involves the one, the only, the CW star Blake Lively.
Lizzie Bennet, Vanquisher of the Undead, is the female lead in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. The Jane Austen inspired heroine will need to be someone who can physically kick-butt in this film. Do you think Lively could fit the bill? According to NYmag, actresses like Emma Stone, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, Anne Hathaway, and Mia Wasikowska have already been linked to the Craig Gillespie picture. Directors have come and gone, too, such as Mike White and David O. Russell. But now rumor has it, Lively could be the one wearing the corset. What do you think?
Seth Grahame-Smith also wrote Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, which Hollywood has also had its eye on. As for Blake Lively, The Green Lantern starlet is set to appear in Hick opposite Chloë Moretz, Juliette Lewis, Alec Baldwin and Rory Culkin. She’s also act in the Oliver Stone drama, Savages, with hottie Taylor Kitsch, Uma Thurman, John Travolta, Salma Hayek, Benicio del Toro, Emile Hirsch and Mia Maestro. Wow!
