Nathan Fillion and JUSTICE LEAGUE DOOM Line-Up

What is more geektastic than the mere mention of the names Nathan Fillion and Michael Rosenbaum? How about those names mentioned in relation to the Justice League: Doom! Yes, somewhere a fanboy’s head just exploded. In a good way!

On his lonesome, Nathan Fillion is best known as Captain Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly and Serenity, also known as Joss Whedon created geek candy. Yes, I’m a geek myself, so I can say these things. Fillion also happens to star as Richard Castle on the popular ABC series called Castle.

Likewise, Michael Rosenbaum, one of my many celebrity crushes, used to play Lex Luthor on the CW’s Smallville.

Together this pair represents sci fi and comic books in Hollywood. The question is, will they use their powers for good or for evil?

Fillion will reprise his voice acting work as the Green Lantern. The first time he took that role was for Green Lantern: Emerald Knights. Daly and Conroy return as Superman and Batman. Michael Rosenbaum will voice the Flash and Carl Lumbly is the Martian Manhunter. Susan Eisenberg will lend her voice to the character of Wonder Woman and Cyborg will appear for the first time, voiced by actor Bumper Robinson.

We can watch the film in the first part of 2012 on DVD, Blu-ray, digital download and on-demand. The plot resembles that of JLA: Tower of Babel, written by Mark Waid.

You see, the two actors, along with Tim Daly, Kevin Conroy, and former Alias star and M.A.N.T.I.S. actor Carl Lumbly, are on board for the animated adventure, Justice League: Doom from the Warner Home Video’s series of DC Comics adaptations.
