Pitch Black fans! Vin Diesel with More RIDDICK 3

Calling all Pitch Black fans; its time for the freshest Riddick 3 update with special thanks to actor Vin Diesel. Woo hoo! The star has delivered performances as Richard B. Riddick, the last in the race of Furyans, in the sci-fi offerings: Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick, the straight to DVD animation The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury and now, in the upcoming Riddick 3.

Diesel rewards his Facebook friends fairly regularly with special sneak peaks into concept art and news related to the sequel. That’s where Boomtron found today’s art.

The piece seems to depict the powerful anti-hero on a dark planet’s landscape on a stormy night, staving off all manner of crazy beast. It isn’t anything Riddick hasn’t survived before though, now is it? The actor captioned the beautiful panel by noting his participation in “Creative Sundays,” as he was sharing the image on that day of the week. He was sure to add the finished movie would bear an R-rating because it is what the fans demanded. Diesel is a fan of all the art he has seen for Riddick 3 thus far and he thanks the fans for putting a proverbial fire under the butts of filmmakers.
