Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Before Edward and Bella

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson

Thanks to Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, just about everyone knows who Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are these days, but what were RPattz and KStew doing before the Twilight franchise transformed them into megastars? The Twilight Saga wasn’t the first brush with fame experienced by Pattinson and Stewart, as revealed by the Access Hollywood video below. Stewart starred in Panic Room with Jodie Foster in 2002, and the interview with a young Stewart reveals that the girl used to actually have a fairly wide range of emotion to display. I really hope her extended run as eternally despairing and morose Bella hasn’t impaired her ability to look like she’s actually having fun with something.

Even though it’s a pretty big deal to co-star with Jodie Foster on the big screen, I think Pattinson has Stewart beat when it comes to Hollywood intros because Pattinson has had the honor of appearing in not just one, but two, huge motion picture franchises. Before he became known all over the world as a vampire named Edward, he was turning girls heads in the halls of Hogwarts and ultimately ending up in a situation that was just a little too big for him as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

The look back shows that a lot can change in a short amount of time. How much more will things change for Pattinson and Stewart in the years to come?
