SOUTH PARK Documentary – 6 DAYS TO AIR Trailer

Have you ever wondered what making an episode of South Park looks like? Well you can stop wondering because a documentary on the process of creating the long running comedy series is being aired on Comedy Central. But before that can happen, there needs to be a trailer, and of course there is one!

You can view the trailer for the documentary, titled 6 Days to Air: The Making of South Park at South Park Studios. True to the title, the film will show the process of making an episode of South Park, which famously only takes six days to make. From writing to drawing to recording voices to animating, we get to see everything. Trey Parker and Matt Stone leave no stone (pun?) unturned. They’ve been working this hectic production schedule since the shows humble beginnings, but that doesn’t mean things have gotten easier. “Even though this is the way we’ve always done it, there’s this little thing going ‘Oh, you’re screwed,’” explains Parker in the trailer. Even if you’re not a fan of the show, this seems like it would be fascinating to watch. These are the only people in the world who can get away with making a TV show one week at a time. It’s a completely unique experience. And the best part of all? Bill Hader’s in it.
