The new faces of DEXTER Season 6

Everyone’s favorite serial killer with a code returns to Showtime in Dexter, Season 6. Actor Michael C. Hall won’t show up for the new season by his lonesome. Plenty of fresh new characters are coming along for the ride. Which ones can Dex trust? Which ones have earned a spot on his table? In today’s preview video you can get a sample of what’s in store for Miami Metro’s blood spatter expert with a very sharp knife.

Premiering October 2nd, Season 6 brings with it son of Tom Hanks, actor Colin Hanks. Based on this clip I’d say he’s a religious sort. But is he scary religious? Is he a killer like Dex? How about his mysterious mentor acted by Edward James Olmos? I’d say something rotten is afoot. Mos Def is also coming to the set. And Dex will get himself a new Nanny. Surprise, surprise; actress Aimee Garcia is Nanny Jamie Batista. She’s Angel’s sister! Where had she been hiding, I wonder? A new detective also seems to be en route, acted by Billy Brown in the character of Mike Anderson. Doesn’t seem like a very fun fellow, does he?

Of course series regulars will also return in the roles of Deb Morgan, Harry Morgan (Dexter’s conscience), Angel, LaGuerta, Masuka and hottie Joey Quinn. Congratulations to the series for snagging 5 Emmy Award noms for 2011!
