The Playboy Club – Pilot Review – The Tamest Risqué Show Ever

With success of Mad Men on AMC it was only a made of time before the major networks tried to copy the formula. The Playboy Club is the first of the two 60s oriented shows to air this season. From the title alone the Parents Television Council wanted to ban it. It was banned in Salt Lake City. This controversy set the Playboy Club up as the raunchiest show to ever grace the 10pm time-slot. Too bad its major network roots held it back from being a guilty pleasure and turned into the train wreck of the season. This officially puts the Playboy Club in the front running for first cancellation of the new season. The Playboy Club stars Eddie Cibrian, Laura Benanti, Amber Heard, David Krumholtz, and Sean Maher.
