TRUE BLOOD Joe Manganiello on Two and a Half Men

True Blood’s Joe Manganiello will be making a visit to the set of CBS’s Two and a Half Men for an October episode. I think the idea of hiring someone like Manganiello is to at least give viewers one good reason to tune it to this series. Ashton Kutcher didn’t bring much to the table when he was brought on board to replace Charlie Sheen.

Coincidentally, Kutcher and Manganiello have a similar hairstyle and beard, accept while Kutcher looks like a homeless person, Manganiello looks like a sexy a wolf (he does play a werewolf on True Blood after all).

According to EW, Manganiello’s role in the October 24 episode will also see the debut of Judy Greer’s new character. Greer plays Walden’s (Kutcher) ex-wife Bridget and I’m sure she will be very Judy Greerish. Manganiello has the distinct honor of playing Bridet’s too-hot-to-believe boyfriend. And let’s not kid ourselves; a comparison between Kutcher and Manganiello’s looks will be made. It’s an easy joke to go to and Two and a Half Men loves easy jokes.

This year has been good for Manganiello as his stardom rises in Hollywood. He’s set to guest star in an episode of White Collar, which will air in January. More impressively, he’s involved in a Steven Soderbergh film about male strippers where he will be playing a man who goes by Big Dick Richie. Wow. Sounds like a movie the ladies will enjoy. Also starring in the film is Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey.
