ANGEL Momma for CHUCK Season 5

In four seasons of Chuck, we’ve met both of Chuck’s parents and Sarah’s father, but we have yet to catch a glimpse of Sarah’s estranged mother. The wait is over folks. In the eighth episode of the upcoming season, Sarah’s mother will make her debut appearance and a former Charlie’s Angel will play her. It seems Chuck likes to use the most badass women in Hollywood to play the moms (Chuck’s mom was played by Terminator star Linda Hamilton).

The lucky angel is 60-year old actress according to TVline is Cheryl Ladd.. You couldn’t ask for anyone better, am I right? Although we don’t have a name for Mrs. Sarah’s Mom, we do know there’s a complicated past between the two and they haven’t seen each other in five years (which would be just before the beginning of the series). How much more complicated could their relationship be compared to Sarah’s conman father, Jack (Gary Cole)? We’ve had two episodes with him over the course of the series and they still haven’t resolved their issues.

Ladd has been busy as of late. She’s also agreed to do a guest spot on an episode of NCIS, which will air this month. She’ll be acting as a love interest for David McCallum’s character. Chuck’s finale season gets rolling Friday, Oct. 28 with the episode “Chuck Versus the Zoom”. It will a be bittersweet first episode since it will be the last premiere we ever get for this little show that could. But knowing Chuck, they’ll make it their best.
