CHUCK Season 5 Lands a 10

Chuck NBC

You know what Chuck Season 5 could use? Someone from the 1979 movie, 10. No, we don’t want Dudley Moore or Julie Andrews, although they are pretty rad. I think what Chuck needs a little bit of Bo Derek to spice things up a bit. Now, how can we let NBC know that’s who they should bring in for a guest role? What’s that? They already hired her? Really?

Yes they have. The Hollywood Reported broke the news that the woman every growing boy had a crush on in the ‘80s will be joining the little show that could in its farewell season. And just who might Bo Derek be playing? Oddly enough, she will be paying herself. Now you might be thinking, oh it’s just a celebrity cameo that won’t really have any significance to the plot. You are dead wrong. While the specifics of the role are being kept tightly under wraps, we do know that Derek’s appearance brings some big revelations in the Chuck universe as well as a forbidden romance with one of the characters. I hope forbidden doesn’t translate to affair. I think Jeff could go for Derek, or I guess maybe Lester. That makes more sense than Morgan, Devon or Chuck cheating. They just wouldn’t do that.

We have a while to wait before we’ll get to see Derek. Her episode is the tenth to air, with the season slated to premiere the Friday before Halloween.
