CSI Lands Fed from CHICAGO CODE

Once in law enforcement, always in law enforcement, which just so happens to be the case for a certain former star of Chicago Code who has been tapped to play an FBI agent on CSI. Twenty-seven year old actor (though he looks like a college freshman), Matt Lauria, will say goodbye to his police uniform and hello to a Federal Agent cool guy suit.
TVLine dropped the knowledge of Lauria’s multi-episode character arc. He’ll be playing a guy by the name of Sac Pratt. I feel kind of bad for the dude if his name really is “Sac”. That’s harsh. However, any sympathy I would have had for someone so poorly named instantly vanishes when I find out how much of a tool they are. Case in point; Pratt (I won’t call him Sac anymore) is a “clean cut, all business, no-nonsense boy man.” He’s the kind of guy who was promoted prematurely and has to severely overcompensate for his lack of experience. This guy is too proud to admit he’s in over his head.
Pratt comes on to help a case ego first, making him the Special Agent in Charge and everyone’s least favorite person. This role is one f several being introduced as the series prepares to say goodbye to Catherine, played by Marg Helgenberger. Annabeth Gish is coming on for some episodes to play an old friend of Catherine’s. It’s always sad to say goodbye to a character. All you can do is hope they give her the respect she deserves.
