CW’s RINGER, SECRET CIRCLE, HART OF DIXIE Get Full Season Orders

Burbank, California was the spot when CW network execs officially ordered up full rounds of freshman seasons for several of their newest shows. This is good news for Sarah Michelle Gellar, Britt Robertson and Thomas Dekker, and Rachel Bilson. These actors headline the three series in question. Put on your party hats and toss some confetti. Ringer, Secret Circle, and Hart of Dixie will all continue on the airwaves to enjoy full first seasons.
Mark Pedowitz, President of the CW was singing praises for his line-up. He highlighted the “creative strength” of the three dramas of these dramas, and appreciated the “engaging characters” the shows offer. He did not mention how wonderful it was that all three shows feature strong female protagonists, but those are my two cents! Pedowitz was also grateful for the “tremendous buzz” fans have unleashed concerning these programs.

RINGER, which airs on Tuesdays, is the Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress’s return to television. It’s co-executive produced by Gellar and twp co-creators of Supernatural, Nicole Snyder and Eric Charmelo. The twisty thriller stars young adult actors and follows a set of troublesome twins.
HART OF DIXIE airs Mondays. It’s creative team includes Gossip Girl, Eli Stone, The O.C. and Samantha Who? former producers. That’s impressive. We’ve seen this sort of thing before as far as the story goes. A big city doctor relocates to a small town. But Rachel Bilson keeps things interesting.
THE SECRET CIRCLE happens Thursday nights. The dynamic new series is a spin-off from Vampire Diaries and is all about a gaggle of teen witches. Which show is your favorite? Why should people be tuning in? Weigh in below!
