DEXTER Season 6 – Once Upon a Time Teases

Another season of the wildly popular Dexter is currently underway, with the first new episode airing this past Sunday. Now we have the rest of the week to talk amongst ourselves about what will be next for our beloved serial killer. Yet, I’ve always felt it was better to see rather than speculate, which is exactly what this promo for this Sunday’s “Once Upon a Time” allows us do. Edward James Olmos and Colin Hanks continue their ritualistic murders, this time kicking things up a notch. If you have a queasy stomach and you don’t normally watch Dexter, now is not a good time to start. Our new killers have sewn body parts to mannequins and strapped them to horses. That’s some pretty messed up stuff, and it’s so awesome.

We can say for sure now Quinn will be proposing to Deb, an act neither Deb nor Dexter seem to appreciate. As Dexter puts it, that marriage will be over Quinn’s dead body. And if that wasn’t enough to distract a guy; Dexter is hunting his next kill in Brother Sam (Mos Def), a convicted murdering turned Baptist. For some reason Dexter believes Sam is just using religion as a cover, which could be true but it would be more interesting if Sam were legit.

Our final teases for the new episode: someone discovers Dexter’s hidden box of blood samples and Dexter finds himself with a gun to his head. Don’t worry about the box, it’s just Harrison who finds it, and he has no idea what it is and probably won’t remember finding it. As for the gun… we’ll just have to wait and see.
