Doctor Who Wedding of River Song Radio Promo

We’re just a day away from the Series 6 finale of Doctor Who, “The Wedding of River Song”, and with that final day of waiting comes one final promo; this one from the radio (via BlogtorWho). Now obviously there is no real video to accompany an audio only teaser, but this is the Internet! We do whatever we want around here. This video contains the audio from the promo, but it has been put with still images of our cast.

And guess what, everyone has those darn eye patches! It’s official; the only thing I want to know is what is up with the eye patches. Everything else can be sidelined if I can just get that one answer.

Okay, back on track. The audio is simply clips that we’ve already heard in the other promos. The Doctor still wants to know why he has to die. Since Matt Smith is signed on for another series, we know the Doctor will find a way to avert his death. Still, I can’t help but wish they hadn’t announced that just yet. I like to be surprised when watching anything where a main character can die. They can do all the deals behind the scenes; just wait until after the finale to announce it, you know? Then we could be at the edge of our seats where we belong, wondering if he’ll survive, or have to regenerate, or make it out with not a single scratch.
