Evangeline Lilly Spitting Elvish for THE HOBBIT

Evangeline Lilly, Lost, Peter Jackson, Tolkien, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit

The very lovely actress, Evangeline Lilly, formerly of that popular J.J. Abrams series, Lost, and soon to appear alongside the scrumptious Hugh Jackman in Real Steel, is currently working on the set of The Lord of the Rings prequel, The Hobbit, and she has plenty of good things to say on the subject. In fact, we have the video of her recent Middle Earth-centric interview just for you. Don’t miss it!

Despite being quite jet-lagged; everybody knows The Hobbit is filmed in New Zealand, Lilly was radiant, articulate, charming and insightful when Access Hollywood stopped her to gather the 411 on her character in the upcoming epic fantasy prequel.

Lilly explained that working with visionary and director Peter Jackson is very “inspiring”. She also detailed just how much support actors on his set receive. Lilly listed a whole slew of coaches available at her disposal, including some dialect coaches. The Canadian actress is expected to speak on camera with an English accent, as is the norm in Jackson’s Tolkien-inspired works. That’s not the only reason her tongue may get tangled. Lilly has lines in Elvish! She even showed off some phrases she has memorized from the script. Way to Geek out, Evangeline! Furthermore, did you know her character is purely the invention of Peter Jackson? You can count on Boomtron for that sort of very cool trivia.
