First Court Approved GAME OF THRONES Season 2 Look

How would you like to go behind the scenes at the filming of Season 2 of Game of Thrones? With the help of an on-site reporter, you can, and she’s already dished a little dirt about a wolf and dragon.
Cat Taylor, the assistant to executive producers/writers David Benioff & D.B Weiss, will be taking over the production diary at MakingGameOfThrones.com and providing some juicy details about what’s going on while filming the HBO hit, although she does admit that some secrets will have to be kept hidden. The previous master of the production diary was Bryan Cogman, who had to let the project drop when he got busy with some other Thrones responsibilities.
While Cat’s first entry in the online journal is basically just her introducing herself to the fans, she does provide a little intel on filming. Apparently, there are so many people filming in different locations that two crews had to be put together to handle everything. In keeping with the spirit of Game of Thrones, the crews have been given the codenames ‘Wolf’ and ‘Dragon.’ The Wolf team recently headed off to film in “Westeros,” while the Dragon team stayed in Belfast for three weeks of night shoots.
In addition to details, the production diary also offers behind-the-scene peeks at Thrones filming, with images like the one above, taken by Helen Sloan, that show some of Renly’s men, although I don’t know if this particular group belongs to Team Wolf or Team Dragon.
From talks of fights and yelling actors to the excitement felt when Peter Dinklage won his Emmy, the production diary lets you feel like you’re part of the action, so check in occasionally to find out what Cat has to offer.
