JAMES BOND 23 Adds to cast – Bond Girl Locked in?

We’ve been waiting to hear news about the identity of the latest Bond girl and now it looks like we get that and a little bit more, just in time for the weekend. Rumors have been floating around about French model Berenice Marlohe grabbing the highly coveted role of Bond girl in Bond 23, which might soon be known as Skyfall, and UK site, The Daily Mail, now reports that Marlohe “met with approval” during the screen test for director Sam Mendes. While nothing else is known about the role, at least we now know what the Bond girl looks like.

Although not a Bond girl, Helen McCrory (Narcissa Malfoy in three of the Harry Potter films) has also been snagged for a role in the latest Bond adventure, according to IndieWire. In keeping with the theme for just about everything else in the movie, details about her role are being kept locked so tight that only an agent with the ‘00’ designation can peek at the info. Sadly, I do not yet possess that license to kill so we’ll have to wait and see.

Bond 23, which we do know stars Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Judi Dench, and Noami Harris, is expected to start filming soon, with a scheduled U.S. release date set for November 9, 2012.
