Scarlett Johansson and the AVENGERS Promo Images

Ladies and gentlemen, comic book heroes have never looked so good. What am I referring to? Why, none other than today’s very hot images of the cast of The Avengers. In the Marvel Comic, several big name super heroes unite on one team to combat evil. The Joss Whedon directed film of the same title does likewise, assembling formidable actors such as Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Robert Downey, Jr. as Iron Man, and, of course, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow.

Each would be capable of, and in many cases already is, headlining their own solo franchise, so it is a fanboy and girl dream to see them suit up together. Wait till you get a load of these photos!

Scarlett Johansson is the scarlet tresses of Black Widow is utterly inspired, don’t you agree? She may be eye-candy for the fella, but I can’t wait for more women to get on board with these comic book movies and Thor side by side with Cap may do just that. I can’t decide which is dreamier. No offense to Tony Stark or Hawkeye, also known as Clint Barton, who will be brought to life by hot commodity and Academy Award nominee, Jeremy Renner.

Samuel L. returns as Fury. Mark Ruffalo is the Hulk. Yes, I’m desperately missing actor Edward Norton. And the cast includes HIMYM actress Cobie Smulders! She’ll be a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Score?
