AMERICAN HORROR STORY Taps HOMELAND, NCIS: LA get Miguel Ferrer from DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES

Ready for a one-two punch full of television casting goodness? Well, get ready, because here it comes. In one corner we have Homeland actor Amir Arison headed to a new series. In the other corner, Miguel Ferrer is taking his always familiar face to the set of NCIS: LA.
Amir Arison has one of those fresh faces. We are going to want to keep our eye on him especially now that he has won a spot on the FX network’s American Horror Story set. Arison joins the Dylan McDermott and Connie Britton headed cast for the he Nov. 16th episode called “Open House”. THR reported on co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s decision to hire the actor.
On Showtime’s Homeland, Arison is Prince Farid Bin Abbud. For American Horror Story, he’ll act as Joe Escandarian, a real estate developer who thinks he wants to buy the Harmons home. Now we all know that is a bad idea!
Meanwhile, Deadline dropped the exclusive that Miguel Ferrer, currently recurring on ABC’s Desperate Housewives will also recur in his new role on CBS’ NCIS: LA. Score! Ferrer is now NCIS Assistant Director Allan Granger for the series. I think he will wear the rank well.
