Batman 3 DARK KNIGHT RISES – Gotham Swat on Scene

The streets of Gotham, otherwise known as New York City, have seen better times as crime reaches a level that requires SWAT on the scene while Batman has to put the BatWing to use in the latest on-location photos from The Dark Knight Rises. The pics show a few details so don’t hit the jump if you don’t want to risk spoilers.

Still with me? Cool! Fans of the Batman comics know Bane spells bad news in a major way for the caped crusader and the citizens of Gotham City. Even though the muscular mastermind isn’t seen in these photos, some of the chaos he creates seems be apparent as a SWAT team arrives on the scene and Batman uses his newest toy, the BatWing, to hover over what appears to be a bomb. There’s no word on what the freaky-looking device actually is so feel free to clue me in if you think it’s something else.
