BONES Legacy FINDER season 1 Gets 50 Cent

The Finder, the upcoming Bones spinoff, seeks to tackle a story seemingly inspired partly by rap legacy Tupac Shakur by hiring 50 Cent for one the show’s winter episodes. The episode in question is significant in one other way; Bones (FYI – check out promo pics for “The Male in the Mail”, next week’s episode at our sister site Criminal Complex). David Boreanaz will step behind the camera to direct. If there were an episode to check out from this new series it seems like this would be the one.
TVLine reported that actor/rapper 50 Cent would portray Big Glad, a powerful hip-hop artist who seeks the help of Walter (Geoff Stults) in locating the missing tracks of a deceased rap artist. There could be a huge financial loss if the music is leaked for free. Not wanting to take a hit like that, Big Glade will seemingly stop at nothing at securing those tracks, perhaps making him more of an antagonist. Walter might end up protecting whoever may have the rapper’s lost tracks if Big Glade turns violent. But with 50 Cent playing the man, it would be an uphill battle to restrain him in anyway. The guy is jacked.
50 Cent is no stranger to television roles, but it’s not something you usually see him doing. It’s likely he took this part due to its hip-hop/rap influences. The Finder premieres in January, while 50 Cent’s episode doesn’t air until February. Are you Bones fans excited for this new series? How many of you plan on watching it?
