DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES Finale Returns Familiar Faces

Now that Desperate Housewives is officially in its final season, it gets to go through a tried and true tradition of a series reaching its conclusion: bringing back familiar faces. The fun of watching this season unfold is seeing in what ways past castmembers are brought back in to the current storylines, and discovering exactly who will be returning to Wisteria Lane. Recently, it was announced three past castmembers would return for certain. Any guesses who they might be?

TVLine reported Dana Delaney (Katherine), Kyle MacLachlan (Orson) and Andrea Bowen (Julie) would all be back for Desperate Housewives‘ eighth season. There has yet to be any word of exactly when we can expect each of them to pop back in for their last hurrahs, but just knowing they will be back should be enough for the time being. And don’t think they’ll be the only three to come back. Showrunner Bob Daily will stop at nothing to bring back as many of the cast as possible in the time the show has left.

Daily spoke out about his reasoning behind bringing back as many people as he can: “We want this season to feel like a bookend, so we would love to bring back some familiar faces and tie up some loose ends — and God knows there are plenty of loose ends.” Is there anybody else you’d want to see come on Desperate Housewives?
