Emma Stone SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE Preview

The always adorable Emma Stone is all set to have us clutching our sides in laughter when she steps on to the Saturday Night Live stage to host for the first time. Her undeniable charm and comedic talent combined with music guest Coldplay should make for a must see episode of the long running sketch comedy show. To get you psyched for the night, Stone and SNL star, Fred Armisen, filmed this little teaser.

The video is under two minutes in length and functions as a sketch on its own as Armisen and Stone try out different ways of promoting the show. For having just the two of them in front of a sound mixer the material is solid and funny. There’s good chemistry between them and I hope they get plenty of scenes together on the actual SNL episode. My personal favorite is the strange romance they seem to have, told through stereotypical looks of longing, only for Armisen to break it up with a cough.

The last time Emma Stone was one SNL was for the hilarious Digital Short, “I Broke My Arm”, where Stone played a high school girl singing about having her arm broken after slipping in some jam. If you haven’t watched it yet, you should probably head to YouTube asap and check it out. It’s a gut buster for sure. Stone has been having a great ride the last few years as her stardom skyrockets. Luckily for her, there is no end in sight.
