Larry Miller a NCIS Christmas Dad

Larry Miller is going to be a dad on this years Christmas themed episode of NCIS. Over the course of the series we’ve met several of the character’s fathers and other family members. So far this year we’ve met Abby Sciuto’s brother, who was played by Daniel Louise Rivas. Having a comedic background, Miller should function primarily as comedic relief, particularly when you factor in whose father he is.

I’m sure you can figure who Miller will be playing. Who better to play an intimidating in-law than Larry Miller? “We needed a curmudgeon with a sharp tongue and even sharper wit so we were thrilled when gifted actor/comedian Larry Miller expressed a desire to play Ed Slater.  The holidays wouldn’t be complete without some family tension and fans are certainly going to get some.  They may even see a side of Jimmy dealing with Ed they never expected.”

I have my fingers crossed for some mean spirited in-law fun. It’s a classic trope to have the father-in-law not like the son-in-law and I’d be pretty disappointed if NCIS didn’t continue the tradition. Miller knows how to be both harsh and funny at the same time. I’d even go so far as to say he’s an expert at playing dicks. Just don’t ruin Christmas. That’s unforgivable.
