Miley Cyrus Rooms as Mavis in HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA

Hotel Transylvania, Miley Cyrus, Adam Sandler, Sony

Miley Cyrus is about to get her paranormal activity on. No, she hasn’t joined that horror franchise, but her new project is all about ghouls and monsters. Sony Picture Animation is making an all new adventure called Hotel Transylvania. This one may just tickle your funny bone. Wait until you hear who has been lined up for the cast.

She’s used to just being Miley, but for the animated film, the young actress will voice Dracula’s daughter. Uh no, now I’ve got a certain Colin Meloy song in my head! Are there any Decemberists fans in the house? Anyway, EW delivered the fun exclusive that comedian Adam Sandler is leading the cast to star as Dracula the owner of a resort catering to monsters and their families. That should be cute! Who knew Dracula need the money? Then again, in this economy, running your own business makes good sense. And immortality can probably get pretty boring without new people around.

Cyrus will voice Mavis, Dracula’s kid daughter. That’s a first look at her in today’s photo. The twist in the film occurs when just a regular ol’ guy shows up at Hotel Transylvania. Do I send some paranormal romance a-brewing?

Here’s the best news. Other members of the very funny cast include Kevin James as Frank, a.k.a. Frankenstein; Fran Drescher as Eunice, his bride; David Spade as the Invisible Man; David Koechner as Quasimodo; singer Cee Lo Green as Murray the Mummy; and Boardwalk Empire‘s Steve Buscemi and Molly Shannon as a mated pair of werewolves. Wow! When we get more details, you will, too!
