RIDDICK 3 – Katee Sackhoff Hunts Vin Diesel?

It looks like there might be some new cannon fodder joining the cast of Riddick as Battlestar Galactica alumni Katee Sackhoff, along with a few others, are offered the opportunity to have their butts kicked by Vin Diesel.

It’s been seven years since bad boy Riddick graced the big screen with his presence in The Chronicles of Riddick (God, I feel old) but the chrome-dome with the freaky eyes is finally making his triumphant return to the theater, and the casting machine is hard at work with bringing in fresh meat to square off against everyone’s favorite anti-hero in Universal Pictures’ Riddick.

According to the peeps at Bloody Disgusting, Katee Sackhoff, who seems unable to catch a break since playing Starbuck on BSG, has been approached to play Dahl, a Nordic mercenary tracking Riddick. Considering the average lifespan of people that track Riddick, I’d say Sackhoff’s luck is still sucking.

Others that have been offered parts in the latest installment of the Riddick franchise include Andreas Apergis (Durham County), Bokeem Woodbine (The Rock), and WWE wrestler Dave Bautista (The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption). Apergis would play a commander of the dark theocracy named Krone, but the roles offered to Woodbine and Bautista are unknown at this time.
